If you succ up passive items (anything that doesn't replace Void and is on a pedestal), you'll get a boost to random stats. Void activates the effects of every Active item you succ up with it every time you activate it after (Except for consumable ones like Pandora's Box, which are just activated immediately and don't re-occur), so if you use Void on a Library that has Book of Belial, Anarchist's Cookbook, and Monster Manuel, you'll get a random famliar, an attack boost, and drop a bunch of troll bombs every time you activate Void again.
